Agree on channels in advance: if some of the people you talk to have moved to MAX, confirm where work topics should be discussed now and where urgent messages should go. Don't move a conversation just because of a random link in an unfamiliar chat.
Keep access to your old conversations: adding a new messenger doesn't migrate your history from Telegram or WhatsApp. Keep access to your old accounts and back up any files you need using each service's own tools.
Check each service's notifications: MAX, Telegram and WhatsApp remain separate services. In a shared window, you still need to check sign-in status and notifications for each individually, especially after your computer wakes from sleep.

How to open MAX alongside Telegram and WhatsApp in 5 steps
- Install Centrio. One installer — MAX, Telegram and WhatsApp open as separate tabs inside one window, instead of three separate apps cluttering your taskbar.
- Add a MAX tab. In the sidebar, click "Add service" → MAX. Sign in once through the web version — the session persists across Centrio restarts, and re-authentication follows that service's own rules.
- Add Telegram and WhatsApp the same way. Each messenger runs in its own isolated session (partition) — signing in to one has no effect on the others, including cookies and notifications.
- Click invite links — they find the right tab on their own. If someone sends you a MAX invite link (max.ru/join/…) or a Telegram one (t.me/…, tg://resolve…) inside any other messenger in Centrio, clicking it switches to the already-open tab for that service and opens the invite immediately — no external browser, no re-authentication.
- Set notification priority. Each tab's settings let you turn sound and pop-up alerts on or off independently — for example, making MAX the priority during the transition period if work or official chats have moved there.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to delete WhatsApp or Telegram if I install MAX?
No. All three messengers can run in parallel indefinitely — none of them technically requires deleting the others. In Centrio they open as separate tabs, all at once.
Will I lose my old chats when switching to MAX?
Switching to MAX doesn't transfer or delete your Telegram or WhatsApp history — they're independent services with their own servers. How long history is kept and how it's accessed is set by each service's own rules.
Do MAX invite links (max.ru/join/…) work if I click them inside Telegram or WhatsApp?
Yes, if a MAX tab is already open in Centrio — clicking such a link inside any other messenger in the app switches to the MAX tab and opens the invite right away. If there's no MAX tab, the link opens in your external browser as usual.
Can I use MAX through the browser while running Telegram and WhatsApp in Centrio?
You can, but it's inconvenient — notifications and switching between chats end up split across two different places again. The whole point of keeping all three services in one app is not losing context between them.

A checklist before you switch
Only open an invite from the sender you're expecting, and check the address and group name. If a link opens in your browser, make sure the right account is selected there — link behavior depends on the link type and your client's settings.
Add all three services, send a test message to each, and check them again after a restart. Don't promise coworkers an instant reply across every channel — pick a primary channel and a schedule for checking the rest.
