How it works technically
- Separate storage for every tab. Each messenger in Centrio gets its own isolated partition for cookies, local browser storage and cache — the same as if every service were opened in its own Chrome profile, just without any manual setup.
- Independent authorization. Signing into one account has no effect on the other tabs — you can be signed in to a personal and a work WhatsApp at the same time, and neither one can "see" the other's data.
- Separate storage on disk. Technically, each tab's data physically lives in a different subfolder on disk — removing one messenger doesn't touch the data belonging to the others.
Why it matters in practice
- Several accounts of the same service. Without session isolation, trying to open two WhatsApp accounts in one browser window means the second sign-in logs the first one out — the sessions compete for the same shared profile.
- Security for work and personal data. Isolation stops a script on one site from accidentally reaching another site's cookies — each tab effectively behaves like a separate application.
- Stability with a lot of tabs open. Separate storage reduces account data getting mixed together. It doesn't guarantee every process is fully independent — an app or system crash can still affect several tabs at once.
Frequently asked questions
How is session isolation different from a browser's incognito mode?
Incognito mode creates temporary storage that's wiped when the window closes — you'd have to sign in again every time. An isolated session in an aggregator is persistent and survives app restarts.
Can one messenger access another's data through session isolation?
Separate storage partitions keep cookies and sign-in data apart. That's a useful boundary inside the app, but it's not a guarantee against every possible vulnerability in the app or the OS.
Does session isolation work the same way for every service?
Yes, the principle applies at the aggregator level itself — to any added site, including custom services that aren't in the standard catalog.
Isolation doesn't mean anonymity
Two sessions can still go out to the internet from the same IP address. The platform can recognize the device and review account activity. Separating cookies doesn't create a right to bypass a service's own rules.
Data on disk still needs OS-level protection. Don't hand over profile folders or diagnostic archives without checking their contents first. To verify isolation for yourself, sign into different test accounts and confirm that signing out of one doesn't affect the other.
