Pick the right approach first
If you only need Telegram, start with what its official app already offers — multiple accounts aren't a feature unique to aggregators. Don't assume notifications from an inactive account are automatically unavailable; check the settings of that specific client and your OS first.
Separate browser profiles also let you keep logins apart and preserve sessions. A private window is meant for temporary work: its data is usually wiped once all private windows are closed. Centrio makes sense once you need repeated accounts plus several different services in one working window.
Set up accounts without mixing them up
- Before you start, make sure you have access to each account and to its phone number or whatever verification method that service requires.
- Add Telegram or WhatsApp from Centrio's catalog and finish signing in through the official web version.
- Add the same service again. Sign in to the second account and confirm the name shown in its profile — not just the color or avatar you assigned the tab.
- Name each tab by its role: "Telegram — personal", "WhatsApp — shop". For two clients, use names you'll instantly recognize as their organizations.
- Send a test message to each account and check which tab and which notification reacted. Repeat the check after restarting the app.
What to check before an important reply
Open the current profile details and confirm the recipient. Visually separating tabs lowers the odds of a mistake, but it doesn't prevent a message from going to the wrong chat. For work attachments, double-check the file name and its contents separately.
Configure notifications inside the service itself, in Centrio, and in the operating system. A muted chat, a Do Not Disturb mode, or a sleeping computer can all explain a missed alert without any failure in account isolation.
If a second account won't sign in or its session disappears
Confirm you actually added a new instance of the service rather than just navigating to a different address inside the first tab. If the service caps the number of linked devices, review that list in its official app.
Sessions are stored locally, but the platform can still revoke them, ask for re-verification, or end them under its own rules. Don't clear every tab's data at once — first check whether the problem account can sign in through a regular browser, and end any unneeded sessions from within the service itself.
When moving to a new computer, expect to re-authorize your messengers. Syncing your list of services does not mean their passwords and active sessions get copied along with it.
