Why notes belong inside a messenger aggregator
A shopping list in your phone's notes app, work thoughts on sticky notes on your desk, an important link you "just message to yourself in Telegram" — small notes usually end up scattered across a dozen places. Centrio's Notes plugin solves that simply: notes open from the same button in the side panel as your messengers, so there's no separate app or self-chat to dig through.
What's inside
- Two formats. A plain text note or a checklist (shopping list, task checklist) — switch between them with one button when you create a note, and each format adapts to its own use case.
- Color labels. Five colors for sorting notes visually by topic or urgency — the color is visible right in the list, so you don't have to open a note to know what it's about.
- Pinning and archive. Important notes get pinned to the top of the list, and anything no longer relevant moves to the archive with one tap — it stops cluttering your main list without being lost for good.
- Sync across devices. A note created on your work computer opens on your home one too — edits save to the server automatically, with no manual export or messaging it to yourself.
How to turn it on
- Settings → Extensions → toggle on "Notes"
- A new notes icon button appears in the side panel
- Press "+" — choose a plain note or a shopping list
- Start typing — it saves automatically
Frequently asked questions
Is Notes a free feature?
The Notes plugin is available on the Pro or Team plan — turn it on under Settings → Extensions, and it syncs across your devices through Centrio's cloud.
Can I make a shopping checklist with checkboxes?
Yes — when creating a note, choose the "Shopping list" type, add items, and check them off as you shop. A "bought/total" counter is visible right in the notes list preview.
What happens to my notes if I turn off the plugin?
Notes aren't deleted — they stay saved in the cloud and become available again as soon as you turn the plugin back on in Settings.
Does autosave actually work, or can I lose text by accident?
Changes save automatically about half a second after you pause typing — a "Saving…/Saved" indicator in the note editor shows the status. You can also press the "Save" button to commit changes right away without waiting for autosave.
